What is this? Cells dividing without replicating their DNA first? Isn't that the dumbest thing a cell could do? 180 years and all this time we thought mitosis and meiosis were it. I know, even I can't believe it.
A team of researchers just recently made an accidental discovery. They were examining baby zebrafish when they saw their skin cells dividing in a highly unusual way. Check out the video below, and read the full article here.
