Blue is a super-rare color in nature.
And this is Entoloma hochstetteri, also known to the Maori as werewere-kokako. It is a mushroom endemic to New Zealand. It is a glorious sky blue. Bask in its splendor and marvel at this rarity whose color makes it a gem among species.
